IELTS Ivy
You can’t take the exam with only the IELTS Foundation course, as it mainly builds basic skills. However, if you aim for a Band Score between 5 and 6, you can take both the IELTS Foundation and IELTS Intensive Preparation courses together for better results.
No, you can’t. The IELTS Intensive Preparation course focuses only on practicing past IELTS exam questions, so students need to complete IELTS Foundation or IELTS Premium first before joining the Intensive course.
It usually takes around 6 months of continuous practice. To reach Band 8.5, you must train in three key areas: Skills, Strategy, and Stamina.
Yes, you can join a 1-month IELTS Speed Training course to prepare for the exam. However, your English level should be at least Upper Intermediate to benefit from this program.
You can take the IELTS exam once you are 18 years old. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can still take it by submitting a Parent Consent Form beforehand.
If you’re taking the test for immigration or work purposes, you should take the IELTS General test. If you’re applying for universities, scholarships, or other academic programs, then you must take the IELTS Academic test.
Ivy Young Learners
Any child who can already read the alphabet can join the Pre-Starter level.
It’s not required for all children. The exam is mainly for students who want to further improve their English skills, study at international schools, or plan to attend high school abroad.
It corresponds to the Upper Intermediate Level on the CEFR scale.
We use Global English Stage 1–12, Trainer Series, and Booster Series.
No, they don’t need to start from Pre-Starter. We conduct a placement test to assess the student’s English level, and they can start learning from the level that matches their ability.
