Terms & Conditions

• Student means a person enrolled in any course or service offered by Ivy Education Group.
• Teacher/Instructor means a person engaged by us to deliver instruction or training.
• Course means any programme, class, workshop, training, module or service offered under our divisions (IELTS Ivy, Ivy English School, Ivy Young Learners, Ivy Teacher Training Institute).
• Registration means the act of enrolling in a course and payment (or agreement to pay) of required fees.

• Registration becomes valid when we receive full payment of the required course fee or upon activation of your payment plan.
• We reserve the right to change course fees, schedules and terms at any time.
• If payment is not received by the due date, we may cancel your registration and you may forfeit your place.

• If we cancel a course before it commences, we will provide at least 7 calendar days’ notice, and you will be entitled to either a full credit toward a future course or a full refund of course fees.
• If the class is delayed or temporarily moved online due to external factors (e.g., government policy, health restrictions), we will notify you and offer alternative delivery.

Withdrawal, transfer, or refund requests must be submitted in writing with any applicable evidence.

Before commencement: Notify us at least 5 business days prior to the first scheduled session to receive a 100% refund/credit or a transfer of your registration.

After commencement:

• Within first week + valid documented reason (serious illness, relocation, bereavement) → 50% credit.
• After first week → No refund unless exceptional circumstances apply.

Exceptional circumstances include serious medical conditions (certified by a qualified practitioner), major family bereavement, or other significant hardship. We consider these on a case-by-case basis.

Transfers to a future date are permitted subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee.

• Students must attend all scheduled sessions, complete assignments, and abide by our codes of conduct and policies.
• Repeated absence, misconduct, or failure to progress may lead to removal from the course without refund.
• We may make reasonable changes to the schedule, instructor, venue or delivery format; these do not entitle you to a refund except as in clause 3.

• Teachers engaged by us must comply with our contractual terms, code of ethics, and teaching standards.
• We reserve the right to replace instructors, adjust teaching hours, or cancel courses if numbers are insufficient; such changes do not entitle teachers to additional compensation beyond agreed terms.

• All course materials, guides, videos, worksheets, tests, and resources are the intellectual property of Ivy Education Group or its licensors.
• Students or teachers may not reproduce, distribute or publish these materials without explicit written permission.

• We will use reasonable efforts to deliver our services. However, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of opportunity, or third-party claims.
• We are not responsible for failure to deliver services due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disaster, civil unrest, government lockdowns, technology failure). In such cases, we may provide alternative delivery or a refund/credit at our discretion.

• We will collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such collection and use.
• We will only share your data with third parties where required by law or for the purpose of delivering our services.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and will apply to registrations made after the date of change.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Myanmar courts.
